New to Investing - TN

Hi, my name is Izzy. I am totally new to investing. Just call me Greenie. LOL
I decided that living on Social Security is really not how I pictured myself living, way back when. I spent the last 17 years working in the Internet industry, a roller coaster ride of feast and famine, only to land here. Its a long story how I got to Bigger Pockets but suffice it to say I started my investigation at one of those "high cost" guys with a friend and my friend found Bigger Pockets cause she wanted something better within her budget. I watched a couple of Brandon's webinars with her and last night decided to join this group. I found Brandon not only a really down to earth man but a good man who honestly wants to help. I like people like that.
This is going to be very scary to me but I am willing to learn because I want better for myself.
