Are two houses on two lots better than a duplex

I checked into what I thought was two on a lot in Little Rock, AR:  6618 and 6630 West 30th Street.   It looks like they are two separate lots though I'm not sure. The selling realtor said she had another property I should consider.  It turned out to be a "bundle" or two houses next to each other.

1.  What are implications for maintenance, taxes, insurance?

2.  Are there other issues I'm not listing?

No issues, really. You have two separate houses. All the "bundle" means is that the seller is not willing to sign a deal on one without signing a deal on the other.

Some LLs like this setup. Ease of maintenance and travel, since they're both in the same spot. You also have a little more control over the neighborhood since you own two of the homes in the neighborhood.
