Now that I dont fly anymore  I dont think I will ever set foot in that area its just way to far to drive. and personally not a big fan of the Oregon coast  unless  its Tillamook bay to fish for Salmon and Steelhead in the rivers that feed the bay .. thats the only time we go to the coast.. my wife was born and raised on Puget Island in the Columbia river ( Cathlamet) so she wants a summer home there on the island you can get river frontage and nice sandy beach and watch the big ships roll by..

I've been a BP fan for a while, started listening to Brandon Turner and loved the podcast and the concept.

Hard to give good advice without more info, but since You are single no kids it's hard to beat buying a single family fixer upper and living in it for two years and then selling for tax free profits....I'm a big fan of Waltham these days $.02 

I am also not a big fan of collage photos.

Everyone focuses on the big cities, but I'm not a fan of that strategy.

Turn over is usually measured in years.I'm not a fan of mobile home parks.
