Hi Will,From what I know, you should be able to get a DC license by reciprocity once you have a MD or VA license by passing the law portion of the DC real estate exam.Here are some additional resources.

Florida is a reciprocating State with Ohio, so I am not surprised.Brian is right - if you want to be in the middle of transactions, get a license.
