If there is litigation on the level needing all this protection there will be discovery.  

Even though I take the full amount of my BOFA and Discovery cards,  they still send me new 0% conveniece checks for me to use.

My attorney says that we will go through the discovery process and then request a summary of judgment.

That means people can't see that you own the property, and if they want to find out they need to pay a significant in discovery and have good reason to find out.

Upon discovery of an unauthorized lock change if the tenant did not pretty quickly get back to me with a good story and offer to pay for reinstall of a smartkey, I would 24-hour notice a lock change as an emergency maintenance issue then and re-install a smart key lock and then notify the tenant by text, phone, email, and note on the door that they need to reach out to me to get a new key.

Many of these issues have no statute of limitations, violations like fraud begin the clock ticking upon discovery, not when the violation occurred. 

REI is no different; make a strategy that works, get some good deals done, and as it's dying, write a book, make a YT channel, form a "group" and sell masses on chasing yesterdays discovery.     

Missing liens in discovery can be costly.
