Propelio is putting on the meet up tonight in Grapevine at the Palace Arts Theater in downtown. 

UPDATE: I saw her in the lobby yesterday and kept my head down and kind of ignored her and about 5 min later I got a voicemail from her apologizing and saying that she was "off her meds" for a few days. 

Also, I would recommend checking out @Kim Tucker's group MAREI, which tracks these things and lobbies on our behalf for a fair and reasonable policy for both renters and property owners alike.

@Jared Viernes what initiative are you excited about that you feel investors might want to lobby for?

The hotel lobby was not involved in the lobbying for the bill.

There aren't that many things to spend money on...no lobby, no elevator, no staff, minimal plumbing, minimal common utilities, new roof, pics don't show any obvious repairs needed.The numbers are almost *too* compelling...am I missing something obvious?

Maybe 2-3 private offices, 2 bathrooms, break room/kitchen, small lobby, and a conference room?

Some markets the hotel lobby is incredibly strong and force certain municipalities to clamp down on Airbnb/short term rentals incredibly hard with very high fines. 2.

Maybe they can lobby the NC legislature to change the law but how long will that take?
