You could put your cash in a national (versus local) FDIC insured bank in a savings account and get on with it. 

For those in BP Nation who don't know, EVs like my F-150 Lightning run 100% on electricity via batteries and do not use petroleum products as fuel.

Quickly becoming more expensive than national housing average, the areas closest to major employers and the airport are in the 600-700s easily now. 

Call every number on every website you find (skip the big national ones).

@Meaghan Lugo I suggest doing some research on national and regional age demographics over the next 10, 20 and 30 yrs.

There is no national GAP funder outlet. 

My cabin is in a better location of Sugarloaf, it's walking distance to national forest, over 1k square foot home, and the lots across the street aren't developed so it feels less crowded.

I would be cautious about using "national averages" as a way to try to qualify or disqualify someone. 

Russ,  my point was about lack of affordable housing.. and 200k to 300k is below the national median and affordable.. so its up to folks that want affordable houses to buy what they can afford .this way they get out of being life long renters and they build equity etc..
