Though in the long run, I agree with your approach in assembling my own team because I’d learn so much more with this approach and I’m fascinated with RE investing that I just want to be more involved than the average TK investor.

While this has been a very stable and lucrative job for me, I have always had a passion for investment and been fascinated by real estate.

The one thing that has really encouraged me about whether or not I really want to do real estate is how fascinating I find the whole mechanics and psychology of it.Do you work mainly in WI or do you bounce back and forth?

@Justin Williams I have found this thread fascinating, not because I'm into flipping, but because I can soooo relate to what you are experiencing with the backlash here.Four years ago when I moved to Belize, I started blogging about my experience of relocating to a third world country.

I'll be honest this really all fascinates me, and I love learning it and talking about it-and can't wait to be incredibly savvy one day!

As I mentioned in another post, reading the forum posts here are fascinating- like a book I can't put down. 

I always find it fascinating when someone states they are buying in a market for the appreciation factor but then buy a cheap home in the hood.
