Wondering if anyone can help determine value of smooth coating, which would to bring it up to the aesthetic standards of our surrounds? 

I saw my HOA rules and it is clearly states that if there is an efficiency loss then architectural committee should consider and should approve the plan.My house is facing south so I have to put the solar panel in my front or worst come basis I should put it west facing but when I approached HOA they abruptly rejected it by saying it should not have street facing or street side facing for aesthetic purpose. 

I think the other blessing in disguise is that we haven't put very many cosmetic/aesthetic upgrades into this house.

Some people don't even like the aesthetics of solar power installed in a house.  

We really like the look much better but we did the demo to remediate termite damage to a header on a load bearing wall...so not an aesthetic choice.

I think people go more for the aesthetic than anything else. 

The location has always been ideal but now the surrounding aesthetics being improved should help stabilize the values!

Once we took the roofs out we were able to create a little more of an arch to give the house a better aesthetic look vs. keeping it so boxy.
