The thing I'll be changing is the financing I've been doing with a local bank, which has been a bit slow and cumbersome.

It will be remote, but since you live there now, you probably already have connections who either already know the house or local friends to find you good people to service things as needed.  

I'm in Northeast Ohio where the cost of living is lower than most of the country, but my CPA charges us $400 a year (I'm down to 2 properties now).Even if you decide to handle them yourself this year, go to your local REI meetup and find out who investors around you are using.
