Since then I’ve moved back to CT and have been working my way up to the position of head winemaker/vineyard manager at a local vineyard here in CT.

There is a brand new development downtown called South Main that will bring 314 new units online this spring with rents starting at ~$1,400 and amenities that include high-end finishes, a year-round pool, hot tub, community BBQ, covered gazebo, private gym, lounge, pet spa, gear workshop, and co-working space.

Does anyone know of an incubator program, retreat, or local advisor that is geared toward the real estate investor? 

We currently own a 1br apartment in Gainesville that's rented to a dream of a tenant, and we're gearing up for the next step.We're considering a 4br for possible use as a student rental.

Additionally, real estate sales generally has a pretty low barrier to entry and for residential sales is geared towards your "average" home buyer. 

Maybe a wholesaler who is wholetailing the property, buying it and selling to a private owner like yourself, they are more geared towards your situation for sure.Buying directly off of MLS can be tricky, there are some tricks you or your agent can try.
