I had a lady apply Saturday afternoon, I got notification from Cozy a couple hours later - clean credit and background check.

With a brand new modern roof, our house would be vaulted into the 21st century and we would never have to worry about it again and that gave us comfort.Well over 3 weeks into this project and I wish I could give you all good news, but alas, I cannot.

It is much more common in areas where the roof of a building might not be visible from the street - commercial buildings, Mansard-style roofs, and the more modern homes with flat roofs.  

My cleaning lady buys them at Wal Mart if she deems them too dirty/worn for use. 

Have you ever noticed that there's always an old lady in line at the grocery store who still wants to hand-write out a check, even though check printing machines have been available for almost 20 years?  

For example, I have a 3/1 that I rented to a lady with 2 grown kids (18 and 21).

Now if you can afford to buy a home there that's another thing with average home price in Palo alto pretty close to 2 million for a house in Indy that would sell for 150k  LOL.. that's the value prop of IndyOne reason Portlandia is known as the Silicon forest as well.. lots of out door options close to home and work.Don't get me wrong I love what's going on in INdy I have a substantial operation running there and enjoy taking those old great lady houses and modernizing them.

I have a house with an older lady that has lived there 11 years (I've only owned the house for two of those.)

We've strayed from the original question here, which was about preference rather than costs.I'm actually interested in what the ladies think about the two layouts.

They say it has a new metal roof, newer windows, and a newer bathroom, so the majority of the work needing to be done is more cosmetic (I hope)... a lady lived there for 20 years and is now selling.
