You usually get traveling nurses staying 2 - 3 months and you can charge up to $2500/mo off of 1 bedroom units.

My aunt built her own home as well on the land she inherited.Now currently, my mother has out her 4 acres up for sale.

My logic for the family payoff would be that's probably the maximum they would get if it foreclosed and was sold for more than was owed anyway, but likely would end up with next to nothing at all.I would then pay the holding costs to bring the mortgage up to date, pay the liens (~$10-15K for nursing home and something else), and then come up with hard money or private lending to do a gut rehab of the house in order to rent it out.

Some traveling occupations like nursing need short-term leases - like 3 months or so - and will pay a premium to rent a furnished place for a shorter amount of time.

We have a mother-in-law rental  attached to our primary.  

Also, I would like to have a attorney look over a contract to find any ways to terminate the contract without penalty or to see if there is a penalty (This issue is for my mother and the land she's selling). 

My mother in law ( before she passed away ) used to come visit my wife for three months every other year since she lived so far away .

When they call in the tow truck they then have to wait for the tow truck to get there and see the whole process through... which makes, a what would be 30 second conversation with their neighbors ....a much faster and pleasant way to handle a simple parking violation and turns it into a 30 to 40 minute ordeal along with the added paperwork and enourmous fines that the homeowner would have to pay to retrieve there vehicle from the impound lot..anyone with critical thinking skills understands this defeats there argument that they dont have time to babysit all the adults in the community...I asked them " if your mother lived below you and her car was getting towed.....you wouldnt let her know that her car is getting towed?"...
