I spent a good part of my childhood here in Niceville and am looking forward to starting my REI career in a place where "it all began" for me.I don't know if you're already plugged in, but there is a an investors group called the P.I.G. that has a few chapters in the area; they also host the occasional speaker.

But it's still very possible to make money.I live in CT and lived in BPT for quite some time during my childhood/teenage years.

My childhood best friend is a General Contractor, and we have agreed to start this business together.  

A childhood friend of mine lived in a huge one, must have been 3000 sq ft.

Great News everybody.I am selling this property under Contract for Deed, at $12,000 after buying it for $5,000.It is a bit of a creative situation.When my Father went to closing, it was not 3 extra lots but the house lot plus 5 lots.I only marketed this property on Facebook and my childhoods best friends Mom is the neighbor.

An old childhood friend of mine who has a decade more experience than me actually puts a monthly luncheon of investors and guest speakers.

If I can get a return assignment here from Korea my plan (since I'm handy and spent most of my childhood around construction sites) is to buy a cheap property in a decent neighborhood (possibly foreclosed), do most of the rehabbing myself and flip it to a rental property.

A little about myself, I'm 32 years old and I have a wonderful bride and three young children.
