As a member of the Bigger Pockets community for about 8 years now, I have been an avid student in the world of financing and real estate investing. After listening to BP podcasts while working in my 9-5 job I realized that I wasn’t going to learn any more in the RE investing world unless I gained some real-world experience. After finding a great lender on a couple of my first investment properties, I realized that was exactly what I wanted to do for others. Become a great asset in the home buying world. For the last 5 years that is what I have strived to become. I believe hands on learning is the best learning. With fix and flips, house hacking, and BRRRR method all under my belt, I feel well equipped to make those goals a reality for those that hope to achieve the same. When I am not investing in Real Estate, I am hiking around Southern Utah with my family. Intercap Lending is a direct Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae lender that offers a wide variety of loan programs and in-house underwriters who follow agency guidelines for faster closings. We have a large portfolio of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, and non-conforming loans. Our portfolio also includes specialty programs like 203k, down-payment assistance, reverse mortgages, and bank statement loans. We also have strong relationships with numerous jumbo loan programs and other niche lenders and investors.

My name is Scott Senner, my team and I have focus on two primary areas of real estate financing: Second Home/Investment Cabins, and Construction Loans. We have been very active in the Hochatown/Broken Bow market in Southeastern Oklahoma for the past several years, and are experts in structuring loans for both second home buyers and seasoned investors. We are also growing our business in other parts of SE Oklahoma, including new construction at both Sardis Lake and at the west end of the Talimena Trail, near Muse, OK (Billy Creek Area). Our team has also been helping our cabin clients explore other vacation home areas, and we are now financing beach homes in Texas, including Crystal Beach, Galveston, and South Padre. In other words, if you are considering a second home or investment property, we have you covered! Our second area of focus is new construction. Interlinc offers a “one-time close” construction loan product that we can use for either primary residences, or second homes. This is a very popular program for a number of reasons, not the least of which is our ability to provide the borrower with a guaranteed interest rate upfront (that can do down if rates come down by the time the home is finished), and only one set of closing costs. On a personal note, my wife Deborah and I have been married for 26 years and have two awesome children, Brevin and Sterling. No grandkids yet, but we think that may be coming sooner than later! We both enjoy golf, fishing, and Thunder basketball, but are absolutely obsessed with Pickleball. Our entire family plays, and we do not travel without our paddles. I do love the mortgage business, and am really good at it, but if I could make a living smacking yellow wiffleballs across a pickleball net, that might be the last they see of me at my office. However, my general lack of skill, being old, and having rickety knees will probably keep me originating loans for awhile! My team and I look forward to answering your financing related questions!
