@Michael Giaquinto Hi Mike, that's great! You can 100% benefit financially from investing in real estate. I have a duplex in Columbus, OH that is cash flowing around $700/month now and will cash flow around $1000/month in May when I raise the rents. If you're undecided about where to invest, I would definitely suggest Columbus.

@Michael K. Smith I would highly suggest looking into Columbus, OH. There are multiple huge companies investing hundreds of millions of dollars into the area like Facebook, Nationwide, CoverMyMeds, and the list goes on. Hey @Jesse Spaur although you might be able to buy low in these times, I would suggest considering investing asap. There will always be a reason to hold off on investing and I believe that the sooner someone can start investing the better, in most cases! Great question, I enjoyed reading some of these other responses! Let me know if you have any other questions!

@Reinaldo Giudici I am about to close on a duplex in Columbus, Ohio! I am sure you have heard about how hot the market is here at the moment! If I were you, I would consider this area. The only downside is all of the competition in the area! Let me know if you have any questions! 

Hey, @Ben Feder , unfortunately, this would be a no. With an FHA, it will have to be between 1-4 units.

Hey Alexis, Columbus is a great market but it will be hard to find a decently priced properties on the MLS. I'm not saying they're not out there, they're just harder to find!

I am not sure what neighborhoods you're looking at with prices between $85K-$100K but some of the war zones in Columbus right now are Linden, Hilltop, and Whitehall. Although these areas will cashflow really well, I would generally suggest steering clear depending on your strategy.
