Personally, I see it as a value add. It used to be included on a lot of our auto insurance policies but many companies have gone away with it to keep costs down. This would offer an alternative and it can set you apart from other competing rentals.

What are your favorite business or mindset books? Personally, I love anything by Robert Kiyosaki, with "Rich Dad Poor Dad" being the first of his books that I read. I also really enjoy Zig Ziglar's "How to Stay Motivated" series. These books have helped me develop the mindset and balance needed to achieve my full potential. They're also my go-tos whenever I'm feeling self-doubt and need a boost.

Hey Brian, I am located in central Minnesota and always looking to connect with other investors. My preferred markets are in Iowa (Des Moines, Cedar Rapids), and Minnesota (Fargo, or Minneapolis/Suburbs) if either of these markets are of interest to you feel free to send me a dm!

I'm primarily looking to invest in Midwest markets. Primarily Minneapolis Suburbs in Minnesota, and Des Moines, Iowa. Because of the stability and growth those markets have been showing but also both markets are close to my home which is an important factor to me

It’s not just about sharing good news—it’s about being honest about the challenges too. Prioritizing transparency helps build stronger, more resilient relationships with investors.

How do you keep your investors informed? Newsletters, mail, emails, texts, phone calls?

Congratulations! Awesome to hear!

For me personally, I find a tremendous amount of value in going through programs that help me learn at a much faster rate then what I could on my own as well as help me mitigate risk/self doubt. Unfortunately, there are some bad programs out there that offer little value.

Social media is a game-changer for real estate investors for better or worse, but which platforms do you think are the most effective? Here are my top picks: (Disclaimer: I personally struggle at using these platforms as often as I should whether it's for real estate or for my auto reconditioning business)

  1. Facebook: Great for joining investor groups, keeping connections up to date.
  2. LinkedIn: Ideal for networking with other professionals and establishing yourself as an industry expert.
  3. Instagram: Perfect for showcasing properties through high-quality photos, videos, and virtual tours.
  4. YouTube: Powerful for posting property tours and educational content to attract a wide audience.
  5. Twitter: Excellent for sharing real-time updates and engaging in industry discussions.

Which social media platforms have you found most helpful for your real estate business?
