There is a opportunity in the central Piedmont region of NC. The apartment building was converted into 12 units but it was 24. All units will need work. Looking for a loan. I have experience and a small team that have helped me throughout the years work on 11 single family homes but this will be my first apartment building. Anyone willing to give a loan or point me in the direction of someone or a company that can help?

Has anyone worked a deal where they have gotten control of a property by putting money in a escrow monthly with a Attorney to buy a property?    The reason I’m asking is because I’ve bought three properties and I’m wanting to fix one up to bring in money and I don’t want to tie up any more money in buying a property but I don’t want to lose the deal. Looking for alternative purchasing methods. The owner doesn’t want any money for the property because they have owned it since 2013 or so and have not worked on it. It’s now in bad shape.

I am thinking about investing in the crows fund Zeehaus. Has anyone invested in the fund? Does anyone have anything positive or negative to say. I was going to use start engine to go through them to invest.

I am looking to invest in the platform and I can’t really find anything on it. Have you invested?

Greets peers

I am in the process of getting under contract a single family home in the 27834 area code of Greenville NC. This will be my first investment property on the coast of NC. I’ve been trying for some time now.
I’m making this post because I want to know if the area has been good to other Greenville investors near HWY 243 , 27834 area. It’s a one bath, one bed room old home. I’m not even sure what it could rent for because other property near it rents out for $1300-1500 but it’s much newer and bigger. The home will need a ton of work but for the price I couldn’t pass it up.
I’ve recently heard that a popular boating company is building a factory near there but closer to New Bern. Kinston NC is not that far away and they have supposedly the biggest air port on the East coast, or the South East.
Just tryin to see if anyone has had a great experience in this area and if possibly Eastern Carolina University students would rent it.

@rene owczarski Thank you. I have contacted a zoning board member and he said it can be converted to a duplex because of the lot size. I was then contacted by a inspector and he said I could do either a duplex or a triplex and he would walk me through the process of what needs to be fixed and how to convert it. So I'm not sure which one I will actually be allowed to design but I do know for sure I can at least do a duplex.

Greetings

I'm in the process of purchasing a home to try to convert the home into multi-unit. Does anyone have any insight on what they went through during their process? Such as hurdles they ran into, inspections, pricing, repairs that went well and did not go well, insurance, etc?
