@Cary O. Thanks! Arlington is a good market for rentals but it is hard to find a deal! I got lucky and found a good off market deal. the average sqft in my neighborhood is probably around 1800sqft. the $/sqft is around 80-100 from bottom of the market to top. I am trying to host a a meet up here soon, if you would like to come it would be a good chance for you to get a good feel for the market! Would you be interested?

@Brian Garrett I am relatively new, I don't know the specifics of the refinance but when I spoke with the lender based of these numbers we would have 10-15k in equity. Not much admittedly but the goal is to rent this property for 10-15 years, so cash flow right now is my main concern. I need to sit down with the lender and get a better grasp on the refinance process. Thanks for the words! 

@Rocky V. I am glad to hear that! Any advice on finding good tenants in the area? Also I sent you a private message about setting up a meet up in Arlington. I look forward to your response! 

@Jason Hirko A good quality 3 bedroom in my neighborhood will go for about 1400-1600 a month. Maybe a B class property 3 bed will go closer to 1200-1300 a month. Are you looking to invest in the area?

Howdy! 

I have been investing in Arlington for about a year now and I am looking to meet a few investors and interested investors in the area. I just wanted to reach out to the community and see what kind of interest I would get if I set this up. I would host it at a conference room at UTA we could bring pizza and coffee etc. and just chat about our deals and the local market. I look forward to hearing from everyone!

Howdy! I just closed on my second house in Central Arlington TX. Purchase price was 92k, putting 32k into it. Doing a hard money loan so we put 21k down at closing. ARV 155k, planning on refinancing and renting hopefully by August 1st. Should have about 25k in equity after the refi, not a bad deal for Arlington! Any advice or questions are welcome!! Also I am thinking about starting a BP Meet Up here in central Arlington, would anyone be interested?? I'm going to do another post about it specifically but just curious if anyone sees this and is interested please comment or message me! Will

Okay so I am looking to buy a house and rent it out, I would like to find a multifamily where I can live in one unit and rent out the other however in my are (Arlington, TX) multifamily units are hard to find a good deal on. So if I end up having to buy a single family house I would want to rent out to other single tenants, possibly grad students or recent grads. My question is, is it possible however tricky it may be to live in a house with roommates while at the same time being the landlord? I would love to hear yall's opinion especially if any one has had an experience like this before!
