Welcome to BP Jake! It is such an amazing tool. And your mind and attention is in the right place for sure. I just have to 2nd @Adam Kozuch. He is so correct in regards to analyzing properties. You are going to hone your skills of recognizing what a DEAL really is. The only way to do that is to look at hundreds of properties. I don't want this to sound daunting, so start with a comfortable number. Next thing you know, you will be looking at the MLS, checking city/county websites and looking at Google Maps all at the same time. Like all day long. It will consume you! lol. In a good way! Stay at it, stay positive and learn from everything that happens, good or bad.

@Cody Barrett

You got this man! I was in your same position not that long ago. Listening to all of the podcasts and soaking up as much information as I could. BP is a great TOOL, but you will learn best by getting out there. If you do make a mistake, look at it as an opportunity to learn. In addition, don't necessarily "look"for the mistakes to come. If you are always looking for something, you will find it in anything. Stay focused, stay positive and look for success! Because even though you have heard many people talk about their mistakes, when you go into life prepared, they will be minimal. Lastly, don't be afraid to reach out to people who are doing exactly what you want to do. Learn from them, pull the trigger and take the world by storm!

@RJ Herron

Welcome to BP fine sir! You are definitely in the right place. Word of advice... Don't be a stranger and don't be afraid to reach out and personally connect with any and everyone. That is how you build trust, get more profile views and gain information. So get in those forums and talk to people, ask question, answer questions, make connections and poke around. There are little gems hidden everywhere throughout the site!

Happy Investing,

William

@Javonni Butler

Welcome to the site sir!!! BP is really, I mean REALLY a community of investors. You will be amazed by the amount of quality people and quality content that you have right here at your fingertips. Get out there in the forums, listen to the podcast, take advantage of all the free eBooks and make sure to network. If you are reading a profile and you like what that individual is doing and/or saying, request to be their colleague. Don't hesitate and don't over think this. The more people in your network, the more exposure you will have. The more exposure you have, the more deals that will come across the table.

Happy Investing!

Happy Investing and congratulations on finding the avenue to financial freedom!

P.S.

To reiterate what @Dawn Anastasi suggested, the local BP meetup tomorrow will be a great way to break the ice and meet some new contacts.

@Brandon Turner

I am glad that you have returned to us fine sir... I was starting to get nervous. You are pretttty tall, you might have hit your head on a coconut... :) All jokes aside, thank you very much. You and @Joshua Dorkin have created something magical and the website gets better with the more time and effort that the creators and the users put into. Additionally, those 25 hours of BP Summit audio that you gifted is priceless. Totally worth the annual Pro membership price alone!

@Ben Leybovich  is a cool guy... He was the 1st (2nd really, but don't tell him that :), to welcome me during my Pro introduction forum.

See you around the site and Happy Investing!

P.S. In case you haven't read my profile in a while, I will be available to headline Podcast Show 200. So you can pencil me in!!!
