@Toby Ima I am part of Think Multifamily with Mark Kenney. What are your goals? Feel free to PM me also.

@Manikandaprabhu Arumugam that's great you are moving to NC. It's a great state. Which area are you moving to? I'm here in Cary.

What are your goals for an investment property? If it's cashflow, it's difficult to find properties in the Raleigh area. I have a few properties in Greenville, NC and those have done very well for the past 5-6 years.

My understanding is that there isn't a specific law around the # of GPs in a syndication. However, I have seen where syndicators interpret the "limit" as 10 or fewer GPs.

I haven't seen any restriction on the # of LPs.

Hey Greg, welcome to NC! I'm here in Cary. What area are you in?

Each situation is different, but my opinion is to make sure the "fundamentals" are good on your rental property; meaning that you are purchasing based on a healthy forecasted cash on cash return. You don't want to buy based on expected market appreciation alone. You don't want to be burned.

Feel free to PM me - I have experience purchasing rentals here in NC and I can share the good, the bad and the ugly.
