GPs put up at least 10% of the required equity in the deals I've been involved in. In many cases, it far exceeds 10%, but 10% is the baseline.

What direction do you see growth out of RTP going? At some point, the spillover into surrounding counties is inevitable.

I only invest into syndications where the General Partners are investing money themselves. After all, if it's such a good deal, the GPs should be investing, right? I will PM you with more details.

@Mike Rodriguez do what the rich do: "hold forever, borrow against".

Keep the property, allow it to appreciate. But get as big an interest only HELOC as possible. And put your equity to work!
