Post: How to buy back property sold on land contract

Hello Fellow Investors,  I had sold a house on land contract.  Now the buyer would like to get out of the deal and is happy to get her downpayment back and end the deal.  It will work for me as well since the property has appreciated.  Can we do this deal with a quitclaim deed process?

@Tyler Caglia, I am looking for a realtor in Columbus who can help with my investment purchase.  Can you refer your realtor?

Your progress is impressive.  You took some bold steps and have a great start.  Can you brief us on how you went about the rehabbing?  Was your realtor able to help with that?  I am looking for an agent who can buy properties as well as manage the rehab.

After a lot of research, I have all my rental investment properties under one S-Corporation. I will never convert any of my rental properties into a personal one - which is when I thought holding it under an S-Corporation will create a tax impact.

Can any accountant in the forum give some feedback on my holding rental properties under S-Corporation?

Hi,

I just bought the bootcamp course plus access to their tool for $1495.00 (I have 30 days to return and most likely will return the purchase).  What attracted me was the option to get 100% financing on multi-property deal and get the acquisition fee ( even if I don't own any equity partnership).  I have broker contacts in some cities that can point me to multi property deals.  However, something in this plan is not sounding right.  Would like to get some feedback on the while multi family property acquisition fee deals.

It also depends on what stage of your life you are in.  For example, if you are closer to retirement or retired, living in a mortgage free house is great peace of mind.  I would rather use other money (such as from 401K or savings) to buy and hold or flip to get a steady cash flow coming in to finance the property taxes, monthly expenses, plus living and vacation expenses.  This way, you have peace of mind about your owned property AND financial stability to manage life.  Beyond that, do flips to generate additional wealth.  Don't touch the basic home....

I am thinking of buying, rehabbing and renting single family or multi family units in Milwaulkee.  If you are experienced in that city and can point me to some good zip codes as well as investor friendly agents, please let me know.

Hi Ethan,

I am interested in hearing about good deals in Lansing.  I am an out of state investor from California but am familiar with investing in Kalamazoo.  I am looking for a good wholesale opportunity for either buy and hold or flip.  If you  have any good deals, maybe we can partner?
