Good Morning Sandy,

I would be happy to help with your search of multifamily houses in those area.  I am a realtor with Keller Williams in New Berlin WI and currently own 6 doors of my own.

Usually my first step is to meet with my clients to go over expectations, search guidelines, buyer agency, and any other items you would like to discuss.

Hope to hear from you,

Tyler Smith

Hello @Andrew Kmiec.  Welcome to the BP community.  "Rich Dad Poor Dad" is a great book and gets people thinking about making their money work for them.  I have been investing in the area for a short while but love the opportunity.

If you are open to meeting up for coffee, I would welcome the chance to discuss the market with you.  We are going into the down season for most buyers which leaves great buys on the table for investors.

Thank you ,

Tyler

@Michael R Fox, congrats to you and Pete for getting started!  Wauwatosa is a great place to invest but the deals are harder to come by.  Once it does though, move fast!

I would welcome the change to connect at the Collective on 68th!  Let me know when some good times would be and I will be there!

Thanks!

@Jake Benzow, congrats on passing the state exam.  Who are you hanging your license with?  Milwaukee is a great place to invest in and this is a great time to get started.  I started the same process about 2 years ago that you are going through now.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like to have coffee sometime to discuss.

Hello Jonathan,

Quick answer is yes, you can get a duplex in Milwaukee within the 50K range that is not in a war zone.  Most people read about the 10K houses and want that same criteria which is near impossible but with your range being the 50K, it should be within reach.  Everyone has their opinion but mine would be to stay as close to the Brewer's Hill area as you can.

Hope that helps and if you want to discuss any further, do not hesitate to reach out.

Thanks!
