Hey,

I've been stalking the last few months here and there, but haven't been brave enough to actually post on the site.

A little about me: I'm 27 years old and from Milwaukee, WI. I'm really into designing, rehabbing, architecture, and real estate. I see it as a package deal. I've come across BP because I was looking for ways to make more income and maybe get some passive income going.

I'm looking to network and learn from many others. I'm really new to real estate and working on learning from BP.  

I plan on rentals and flipping in the future.

Maybe even a developer?

Hi Lucy, 

It sounds like you have a great background to be successful in real estate. It's really helpful to network and connect with as many others in the local market. There are so many different strategies people use based off their individual resources and the more people you connect with, the more you will be able to learn quickly. Some local meetups in Milwaukee are Milwaukee REIA, Apartment Association of SE WI and Brew City REI. I help run Brew City REI and we have meetups the last Saturday of each month (except 3 months in summer where there are no formal meetups, just networking side events). I'd suggest attending at least one meetup of each group to experience it and the nice thing is, there are different members in each of these meetups.
