No sir. I am still needing to go walk through to get a closer look and make sure everything is okay.

As much as I want it to be a buy and hold, I believe a flip and sell will be the best way to go for this property.

Hello everyone! So I am jumping into real estate soon. Finally. Since I am new to this world, I could definitely use some mentorship. I have been waiting on the perfect property to come along and I believe I have finally found it. I don't want to wait too long and risk losing it. I am working on financing now. After reviewing the property with a contractor and realtor, I will make my decision to buy and hold or flip and sell. I feel like this one will end up being a flip and sell though. If anyone would be willing to help me, please don't hesitate to reach out! I'd be happy to compensate you for your time following the closing of this property.

Hey everyone! So I need some advice. I am about to jump into the world of real estate investing. I have found the PERFECT property at a low cost. It's in a great area and needs minimal work. I still have to do a walk through with a contractor to make sure everything is okay but as of now, it looks like the perfect starter home. As this is my first property, I will need financing to get started. I was wondering what my best options are? Different pros and cons? Do any of you have any advice or tips?

I'd love to speak with some of you further!! Please don't hesitate to reach out! Looking forward to connecting with some of you soon!

Hello everyone! I am not new to Bigger Pockets but I am reintroducing myself after an extended break. I joined a few years ago when I became interested in real estate investing but I stepped back from my investment ambitions to finish my associates.

I am 20 years old and began investing in the stock market at age 18. While I enjoy watching my investments and the excitement definitely interests me, I prefer to invest in investments that I can manipulate on my own. So real estate is perfect for me.

My next goal is to have my first investment property within one year and begin to build my portfolio from there. I plan on getting my realtors license as well. I am a hard worker and fully dedicate myself to everything I set my mind to so I am excited to see what my future holds in the real estate world. I hope to hear from many of you and to get advice and starting tips from those that have been where I am at and have been successful in their own ventures.

Feel free to reach out! Have a great day!

Tristan

Hey there. It's hard for me to review and operate the Forums through my phone. It won't allow me to do many things so until my new computer comes in, most of my work will have to be through private messages for the ease of everyone involved. Hopefully my new computer will be here within the next week and I can begin using the forums regularly. In the meantime, I have received help for this house with someone I met on here that lives close to me! Thank you!!

Hey everyone! I am looking for advice on my first flip and sell. I am pretty sure I have found the perfect property. I have several questions about the property and what would be good to increase value. If anyone would be willing to answer some of my questions, please message me and I will send you the link for you to look at. Thanks!!

My phone won't let me tag you guys. :(

I have lived here all my life and I know the area very well. I know there is a huge market for renting. Many people in this area can afford to rent but not to buy. I believe if I could get the initial capital to begin buying houses in this area alone, I could create an Empire Of Properties. Many of the landlords and apartment owners are getting older in this area and are trying to sell their properties. That's why I want to consider staying here For the start of my investing.

I just didn't know if renting or selling was my best bet. I would say renting but I didn't know if there was something I didn't know.

Hey Everyone! I am starting out my property investments this summer and have been looking at several different properties. But I wanted to see what you guys thought about this:

I live in a very low income area. It's an economically depressed area that houses don't sell very well in. Because of that, many houses that are for sale are dirt cheap.

Most people would say, buy them since they are cheap. But it would make sense to question that logic by bringing up the fact that if you buy a $10,000 house and do $5,000 worth of renovations, if it doesn't ever sell.... that's a loss of $15,000. (Without all the extra costs included)

So basically, I just wanted to get some feedback on what you guys thought about low income areas. Thank you guys!

I have been looking for a forclosure. I live in an area that most houses have been forclosed on and almost everyone rents. That's why I want my first few properties to be in this area. It's a guaranteed bet to have people lined up to rent.
