I'm trying to follow data trends now to watch for population changes.  I'm wanting this because I'm trying to see if investing in fix and hold properties would work here in Kansas City long term or if I should look elsewhere.  With that being said, I'd like to see data trends (population changes, % of renters per area, business growth, etc.) for both the Kansas City area, then nationally in other markets as well if that's available.  Looking through other posts I did see KC offers KCRAR which is great for looking at house sales, but I'm looking for more data to help assist on the fix and hold properties.

@Joseph Ferrer, how did you acquire the list of pre-foreclosures?  I live in the Kansas City area and would be interested in that for my area if it exists.
