Hello BP,

I have been investing in single family properties for the past nine years. I am currently in the process of purchasing my first 5+ unit commercial property in Central Ohio. I would like to connect with investors that have made this same transition from single family investing to commercial property investing. What would you pass along to a fellow investor during the scale up? Thank you in advance!

If I had to pick one, I'd say more like the former Short North in the late 90's. I do not see too many similarities to Linden.

@Sean Dawson Compared to the rest of the country, Columbus Ohio is a bargain for everything the city has to offer. Columbus is a completely different city than it once was. The prices do seem high compared to the history of prices in Columbus. With all the demand for our city, I believe that even with a healthy correction property values in Columbus will stay stable. Time will tell. Mmmmm. Ramen.

@Matt Smith keep an eye on Sharon Heights, Columbus Ohio. There are some great SFH rental opportunities.

Franklinton is transforming before our eyes. Everyday there is a new project breaking ground.

Casto has signed its first tenant – a longtime Short North arts gallery – at its River and Rich development.

The developer announced that the Roy G Biv Gallery for Emerging Artists has signed a lease for about 2,000 square feet of space in the $40 million East Franklinton development now underway.

Pleasure meeting on BP. I've had good experience in Central Ohio with Hansels Septic Tank Service.

Good afternoon BP,

I just had a client who is an out of state investor close on a duplex in the Olde Towne East area of Columbus Ohio. He is interested in having a property management company help with his new property.

Does anyone on BP have a high quality service Central Ohio property management company recommendation for an investor who is just starting a Central Ohio RE portfolio?

Thank you for your time,

Trent Ecklar
