@Zach Bajalcaliev I just passed my Indiana state exam a few weeks ago and I think the best advice I can give is just make sure you really nail down the vocab into your memory, it will help out a ton when you get those questions that try to trick you and throw you through loops. Along with the vocab just take a bunch of practice tests (I used prep agent) and go into it with confidence and you'll do fine, Good luck!

@Kareem Lyons I'm relatively new to the business so I spend the mornings (8am-11am usually) reading books and educating myself on different aspects of the business, then I spend some time lead generating and looking at FSBO's on craigslist and other sites, then I try to get out of the house and either shadow an agent or go to open houses to see how other agents handle their business.

@Russell Holmes Yeah if you decide to go with eXp that would be fine with me! I'll probably have some more knowledge about the online training and Kunversion and all of the other courses i'm taking through eXp right now, so if you do list me as your sponsor i'll do my best to stay in contact with you and help you throughout the process as much as I can!

@Russell Holmes That sure would be nice if you could buy real estate with Robux! And regarding your last post to @Georgui Kasaev, if you're consistently getting 88%-100% on the practice tests then I think you'll do fine on the exam. I can only speak from experience on the Indiana exam but I scheduled my test right after I passed the pre-licensing course and had about a 2 week time-frame to take the practice tests and I was getting around 85% each time. I think the main thing is just knowing the vocabulary so you can pick the questions apart and really understand what they're asking on those little trick questions they tend to ask.

@Russell Holmes Yeah that is definitely one thing that sold me, their growth and all of the testimonials from people that have worked with eXp. I just feel that they are really revolutionizing the real estate sales industry. The cloud based concept reminds me a lot of when Amazon came in and just took over consumer goods sales and became much more efficient than regular brick and mortar stores. I think what eXp has going on is great and other brokerages will either have to get on board or get left behind! lol And have you had a chance to get on and look at the little virtual world/office that eXp agents have access to? you can go in and sit in classrooms, lectures, and meetings and talk to other people and ask questions to people actually working in the virtual offices, it's hard to explain but I was blown away when I was first introduced to it.

@Russell Holmes Yes I have started with eXp and I am currently in the training process and plan on doing real estate sales full-time as soon as I can. eXp is very flexible because a lot of it is online instead of having to be in a class three days a week for 3 hours at Keller (that's what they said it would be when I talked to them). But on top of the online training I also have a mentor and I'm getting some hands on training by doing a listing with her next week and then another broker is letting me conduct an open house with him tomorrow for a little extra hands on training. It has been a great experience so far because it seems like everyone wants to help out wherever help is needed and it has been very flexible. I also really like a lot of the online tools they offer (check out Kunversion on youtube). But yeah I really like eXp and would recommend it but just meet with a lot of different firms and pick the one that is the best fit for you!

What part of Indiana? I'm a real estate agent in southern Indiana. I think it would be a lot easier and make more financial sense to rent out the house in Indiana and just collect the rent. I feel like it would be very difficult to sell the property and then find a property in Denver giving you a roi anywhere in the same ballpark.

@Georgui Kasaev Oh I gotcha! So basically the same concept, so Indiana (going by those principles) would technically be 90 pre and 36 post, or 12 a year until renewal.

@Georgui Kasaev No, I'm all done and have a valid license now and just signed my ICA with eXp Realty. Now the only thing i'm still required to complete is the continuing education requirements within the next three years (12 hours per year).

@Georgui Kasaev Just to supplement my original 90 hour pre-licensing course! I used it for about 4 weeks leading up to taking the state exam. No problem, glad I could potentially help
