REOs are typically sold like any other listed property. They are represented by Realtors who sell them. If you're looking to buy one, you can contact a real estate agent, or search the banks directly. The ones that list properties on their websites usually list an agent that is representing the property as well. They have a great directory of bank REOs here at Biggerpockets to help in the process.

Sounds to me like MTH was here soley to promote Pinnacle. I'm not sure we'll be seing them again.

Hello. Like Wesley said, you can always link to another site from yours. We'd appreciate your link to BiggerPockets. As for referrals, linking to other sites is fine here at the forums provided you are doing it to share information or help others out. Solicitations are not acceptable, except in the classifieds area, and there are rules for posting there.

Just create a sig with a link to your site, and get involved. If you're a part of the community, people will naturally visit your website without you asking them to.

I agree with Chris. You pay a manager to handle the day to day business and collect the checks. The key is getting a property that had a good cash flow. Otherwise, I guess you could look at the stock market or something.
