Looking for a dependable, fair priced contractor, as you get what you pay for, in the Indianapolis are. Generally more south east area around Franklin, Warren, Perry, and Center townships, but could be some work in other metro areas as well. Any introductions or referrals, or recommendations appreciated.

Great job on sticking with it when others may have backed out and given up on both. Yeah they aren't $10,000 deals yet, but the education from them could prove to be more valuable moving forward. Keep it up and thanks for sharing.

At the very least if I were going to pursue having him as a mentor, I would ask for 3 - 5 of his prior students as references. But like @Jacqueline Carrington said, If you have to ask you probably shouldn't.

Thanks @Account Closed. There is no success without action, and no mistake is made without providing education. It is up do each of us to accept the education life hands us and learn from it and continue with forward moving action and.

@Shawn Holsapple I Have Joined flip2freedom Academy and will go back to the podcast and listen to it today. I Have all the Rich Dad investing books and listen to them over and over. I always pickup something new. I'll also checkout the INREIA. Looks like it is definitely more active.

@Derek Gendig I look forward to meeting you at an event one day.

@Greg Carrier Thanks for the well wishes.

Hey everyone, My name is Tom Johnson from Indianapolis, Indiana and I am getting started through the same path it looks that most beginners follow, Wholesale to rehab and/or buy and hold. Also as with others, this is something part time for now (as I have a full time job) that I plan to build to a full time business. I have registered with the CIREIA and plan to be at the meeting Tuesday night. I look forward to interacting and learning from all of you on this great platform.

I have my first SFR under contract, but I see now I was overly sympathetic to the sellers situation and offered to high to make it a good wholesale deal. Learn from our mistakes and move forward. I am always open to any advice and or criticism and would love to find a local mentor if anyone knows of anyone in the Indianapolis area that would care to take the time.
