Welcome to BP Roy.  I am in Saginaw and have a few rentals.  Always looking to network and meet new people interested in Real Estate.  If you don't mind the drive up to Saginaw, I run a meetup in Saginaw the second Thursday of every month.  It should be posted here in BP or you could look for Saginaw Real Estate Investors on meetup.com.  We've been meeting for close to 2 years now.  It's still a relatively small group.  Check us out if you have the time.

This group is for anyone interested in real estate investing. All levels of experience are welcome. We meet once a month (2nd Thursday of every month) to network and learn from each other. We would like to meet anyone with current rental properties, flippers, wholesalers, BRRRs, beginners looking for first time deals, realtors interested in expanding their network, buyers, sellers... generally, if you're interested in real estate, you are welcome

We have a small but loyal group of real estate investors that have been meeting for about a year and a half.  We would like to meet more investors from the Saginaw Bay area.  We do alot of networking and learning from each other during this time.  We meet the second Thursday of each month.  This month we hope to have a couple of guest speakers from the Saginaw County Landlord Association come talk to us and answer any questions we might have.  I hope to see you there.

I would be interested in this as well.  I host a monthly meetup in Saginaw.  It would be nice to see what others are out there.

Welcome to BiggerPockets Terry. I run a small REIA meeting in Saginaw. DM me and I will send you the info if you're interested in coming to Saginaw for a meeting and to meet a few people.

Hi Wendy - thanks for the reminder/post!  I saw him last year at the MREI meeting.  John is very entertaining and knowledgeable.  I hope to make it to the Saturday event this year.

Check out some of the blogs at BiggerPockets.  Wendy Patton had a good blog giving you things to consider as you think about getting your license.  It looks like you have lots of others with their opinions as well.  Just giving you one more option to think about before you make your decision

Thanks @Steve Vaughan and @William Hochstedler.  I appreciate the advice and information.  I'll talk to an attorney before proceeding.
