Jesse-

Travis has a wealth of knowledge and a good guy. His parents are run a couple of great places to eat her in town.

Im also an investor / realtor in Lubbock. We are mostly buy and hold and do a couple of flips a year.

My $0.02 is determine what you are looking to invest in. Lower income - can be high cashflow with more headaches. But cheaper to get into.

Middle class - more stable, more competitive, costs more to play. Less headaches.

Multi family is hard to find any deals it seems like.

Anyways - Im always open to sharing the info I have.

Cheers-

Tomas

Local Lubbock Realtor and Investor. We love the area for various reasons. We are mostly Buy and Hold, but do some flips.

Currently my wife and I are around 50 doors, mostly single family.

We do have a small package of 4 cash flowing homes that we are looking at selling. We are transitioning from only single family to some commercial and small multi family.

Quote from @Tjimon Louisy:

Hey Kaci,

Congrats on the deal. Interested in knowing where the house is located in relation to the university. I am out of state investor interested in Lubbock and have heard mixed reviews regarding the east of side of town and would love to potentially talk about your experience for some perspective. Also, did you use a contractor or did you DIY the remodel of the back apartment?

Most investors avoid anything east of Ave Q.

We love it. CASH FLOW. But we are pretty hands on and know the area pretty well

I live and invest here.

there is a good group of people here than can help.

Travis Turner and his team do a good job.

There are a couple.

Search black Diamond investments or Philip Placencia on FB.

Stephen- we live and invest here in Lubbock. Lubbock is a good part of the state. A couple of universities, several school districts that are growing also. Great medical facilities.

If you have any specific questions or needs, I can help out.

Thomas there are some investor friendly banks in Lubbock. I've been doing cash out Refis on our BRRRR properties.

We use Tray Payne also for our LLC formation. It helps that he's a RE broker / investor also.

Commercial lender- Tony Pena at city bank.

Rehab- we usually do our own, but Dustin Boese is an honest guy. He’s on Facebook. Or message me and I’ll get you his contact info.

Happy investing

@Austin Hughes I get multiple emails daily that are way overpriced. I think lubbock Hs some out of state investors that are driving up prices in some parts of town, but for the most part getting things sold depends on location and price.

Do you have a portfolio that you are trying to get sold? If so, I’d like to take a look.
