Hey guys,

We are looking into buying some properties in Indianapolis. Our agent has sent us some contacts but if you can please share who you have as your banker that would be great. We have had a great experience with small to mid size local banks in both MN & KS so looking for the same. These properties will be held in LLC so it'll be commercial loan unless we can buy these under our personal names without residing in Indiana (may be banks will have a way). Thanks in advance.

Regards

Toby

@Ronald Allen Barney Some good info here about Cali. I too thought that people were leaving but after my visit it is clear CA is where top level IT talents love to be for high salary and the lifestyle in general (avoid downtown SF & Oakland and you are good).

@Ronald Allen Barney-I see a trend here. Lots of folks mentioning OH for both job growth & population growth. Definitely would take a look at Ohio. In my research Indy came out strong for cash flow as well.

Hey guys,

We are very much interested in Baltimore rental properties. We would love to gain some knowledge about the area and neighborhoods to invest in as well as areas to stay away from as long distance investors. Please let me know if we can connect. Looking for local investors, contractors, agents & property managers in Baltimore. Thanks in advance.

@James Wise Thank you! We are also interested in Baltimore- if anyone has any article to share or actively invest there-I'd love to learn more about it. Mainly the returns for B class asset group, if it is a landlord friendly area and do you see future growth etc.

@Marcella Hoard-Thank you for sharing the article. If I can get more info on both Columbus & Cleveland that would be great. Looking to invest in that area along other cities that are growing in the Midwest. We stay out of the bust & boom towns. So far it served us well due to strong cash flow & good cash on cash return.

@Niles Emerick-agreed. It seems that opportunity zones aren’t discussed much in the platforms. Thanks for recommending the podcast I’ll be sure to check it out.

Hey guys, if you have invested in opportunity zones then I’d like to learn from you. Recently I looked at that strategy  (seems promising) but looks like according to the map most are in not so good neighborhoods. Any advice would be appreciated.
