Congratulations Rob!!  I am very pro Section 8.  I had a Hurricane Katrina survivor from the Section 8 program in Cobb County and it was a very positive experience.  Even when she lost her job, the program kicked in for her portion and she only had to pay $45, so we didn't miss a beat! Otherwise, she might have done a "midnight creep" move out on me and I would have lost income for a few months.  Plus, whenever she would try to push the envelope, I had the leverage of talking to her program counselor who could pull her voucher so I felt that was helpful and gave me a little power and an incentive for her to cooperate.  Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help you in any way.  Also, I am a member of GaREIA and I lead the SouthSide group for the organization.  We meet the first Wed of every month at 6:30 pm at the Piccadilly on Old Nat'l Hwy//Godby Rd in College Park. You're more than welcome to come out network with the other investors if you like!
