@Bryan Cavellier Im dealing with this decision now as we speak. Making it more nice than other comps on the area will quickly get it rented out but will you get a return on your investment quickly is the biggest concern. Although knowing real estate is a long term investment we all want to see ROI as quickly as possible.

@Anita Anand The first deal is always the hardest! It gets easier in time. RE is definitely not for the faint of heart

@Jordan Woolf There are currently companies that remanufacture tiles that look exactly like the asbestos siding. I would leave the non damaged siding in place and just replace the ones that are broken and paint. I second Mr. Brazil in his statement of how sturdy the tiles are and very low maintenance might I add.

@Brandon Johnson Im looking now. Just have to be very careful. Ive meet one other guy who owns a multi family complex and we talk all the time. He concurs on my thoughts as well. He says no one knows of his second life of real estate.

@Russell Brazil I bought the property cash from the owner. No financing i didn’t need to provide my SSN. My lawyer got both parties to sign the cash sale and recorded it with the clerk of court and assessors office. I dont think that particular title company i was trying to use knew what they were doing, or maybe it was just a mis-understanding. Either way i ran for the hills and still got the deal done.
