For what it's worth, I've heard people say they've enlisted the help of postal carriers. It's been done.

I tried it for about 6 months, made 120 offers and couldn't close one. Depends on how hot your market is too. I wasn't successful and it's a grind but the deals are out there.

I just write up an offer letter and send it with a POF.

Assuming your numbers are right, I don't see anything wrong with #1. But I'm new as well so....

 Awesome! Good stuff Adrian.

BP,

I'm about to launch my own direct mail marketing campaign here in the next few days, and I figured I would at least ask about this. I know that there are significant discounts given for bulk purchases, but what about <500 postcards? I'm going to be sending out 400 postcards the first week of the month next month, then every month for the next 6.

What do you guys think? Do you know of any discounts or have any advice?

Thanks for the response, Cody.  Is it cheaper to have you guys send the letter or to have them shipped to me and I send them my self? The reason I ask is because the postage on your WS seems really inexpensive.

BP,

Direct mail marketing is about consistently consistent on a consistent basis. That's what everyone says, right? My question is, at what pace?

So let's say I have $500 to invest in marketing a month, not counting the list purchase. If you price it out on Yellowletters, that is going to give you roughly 450-500 pieces mailed. My question is this: Do you buy a list of 500 leads, and mail them one time that month or do you buy a list of 200 and mail them twice. OR do you go for the gusto 100 leads 4x a month?  Given that you are going to repeat whichever road you decide to go down for 6 continuous months, what would you do?

What do you think?

Generally speaking, I disagree with you on books vs internet resources. But Micheal Quarles is a different animal. Good idea.

Any suggestions?
