Hello all BPs

If you have real estate portfolio in different states, do you use a "real estate tax accountant" or an a specialized real estate attorney to assist with end-of-year tax filing?  I am looking for an accountant specialized in real estate in Seattle or Houston areas but although seems to experience a challenge in obtaining one as most accountants are general tax accountants.

Thanks in advanced

@Kaitlyn Robinson I am not making attempts to sell you anything.  It is more important that to me that you have the info you need to meet your RE goals.
I believe this is what this BP community is all about- sharing ideas and helping those with common goals.

Good luck!

Quote from @Tiffani T.:

It does not matter which path you would like to take- HML or PL as long it provides good lending options with lower interest rate. Know the laws. If you are interested in funding, I would love to introduce you to a mortgage loan officer here in WA. PM me.

Thanks,

TM

@Beth Johnson Thank you.    Do you have his business name by any chance?  Or is he running ABA as first name?

Does anyone know of a competent, knowledgeable RE CPA within the Seattle area?  I need one who have done 1031Exchange transactions.

TIA,

Keep it.  Corp world loves "diversity and inclusion".  This gives you a better leverage with a unique non-Americanized first name and making it more noticeable to attract buyers in higher end market aka more $$$$

@Nitzan Mosery

Thank you for York advice. Good to know that you have recently gone through the same. Can you clarify? Can the 1031 intermediary acts on my behalf as a seller? What if i were to purchase another asset? Who will be the buyers agent?

By the way, I’m not a licensed agent.
