If I were in your situation I would buy a primary residence with a good setup for roommates and that might be a good longer term rental. I would live in the house for a year and rent out the other bedrooms so that I could live for free. Then in 12 months if it is working for me stay there, if it is not, move out/keep renting by the room or rent the entire thing and then go buy my next property. I wish I had done this method rather than wasting so much money on rent when I was younger. But I like people so roommates never bothered me.

Our investors were looking for agents that were investor friendly and it was a large need we heard and addressed by creating the program.
