And does anybody know reliable GCs or good Sub contractors here in the Dallas area?

Hey Pedro Jimenez I hope you do well. I just listened to a BP podcast that talks about getting a job in the RE industry. Like getting your license or something.

I'd be interested in hearing about this as well. I'm researching right now the cost for zip letters since I feel like they have a higher chance of being opened.

During high school I helped dig out my friends basement in a kearns house. My favorite part of summer ๐Ÿ˜’let me call his step dad and see if the concrete went far enough down or if he had to pour concrete down and I'll get back to you.

Joshua Johnson I have heard a quote that goes a long these lines: 'the best time to start to invest in real estate was 20 yrs ago, the second best time is now' and I've believed it since I've heard it, as long as in the end I start than that's the best time for me.

Hi BP Nation! My name is Tiago Alencar, married up to my hot wife and have one son. I've lived in the Salt Lake Valley for the last 14yrs. The 14 yrs before that I lived in Brazil. Just like a lot of people here the book with the guy with two dads was my turning point. I always had an entrepreneurial mind set but never really understood it until I read that book. Since I finished that book for the first time four years ago I still haven't done a real estate deal and the reason why is because I believe that my expectation was not realistic. Since trying to start in RE wasn't working out, I decided to start a more traditional business cleaning carpets, windows etc, and have learned through building this business what it really takes to get a business off the ground, aka looooooooooopottsss of work, perseverance, and money. Now that my expectations are more realistic I thought it would be a good time to start looking at real estate again, this time with a LOT more realistic expectations, and humility.
