This topic interests me.  I have been considering a house hack in Denver since I spend a few days per week in the area.  Did you find someone to help with the lease agreement?

Clean ones....sorry, couldn't help myself:) My STR in Winter Park has great reviews and my secret to success is to make sure the place and linens are clean. You would be surprised how many STR people take shortcuts in the area. @Mindy Jensen, I use the Walmart towels.  Those towels have been the most comfortable and durable.

I have found this to be a useful tool when I don't have time to get out and drive. Anyone else doing something similar?

look for the court proceedings for each county.  It will list the unlawful detainer, I use this information to gauge how good a property management company is at placing good tenants.  If there are a lot of evictions, I ask them (the property management company) about it.  This is a useful tool if you are looking for a property management company.

Hi All,

I registered for the local tax lien sale and it goes live in October.  What are some of your recommendations on bidding/due diligence?  Are you seeing good interest rates in your area?  I'm ready for a real life educational evolution...may lose my shirt lol.

Thanks,

@Todd Rasmussen great feedback. How did the availability of funds work? Did you need to deposit the funds in one of their accounts?

Thanks,

Thomas
