Dolores Waldron all points made above are extremely important, the biggest thing is the market you are looking to do a condo conversion, if there is no market for condos and attached single family housing it makes no sense. Somerville, Southie, Cambridge for example I know of several personal developers who are killing it in condo conversions fastest largest returns in 12 months, other areas not really a condo market. If you need any help my company specializes in multifarious investment properties in the Boston area and I would be happy to give you some insight.

@Josue Velney, unless there is a catastrophe we aren't selling anytime soon. I do get many off-market deals in somerville, and will be listing a 2 family fixer-upper in somerville in the next week or so, if you want to be notified of these types of deals shoot me an email or inbox me.

Hi @Doris Maldonado, Welcome to BP! I am also in Cambridge, the majority of deals my company and myself work with in the Greater Boston Area are multifamily investment deals such as Condo Conversions and Hold and Rent strategies. Almost 80% of what I have going on is also Off-Market. I would be happy to tell you more about investing and the investors and developer's stories about investments I have worked with them on.

Christoper Richardson welcome to BP! I have only been using BP for a short amount of time but it's great. My family has been buying and holding properties since the late 1800s in the greater Boston area. I currently manage all leasing for 30+ units in Cambridge, Somerville, and Medford, but my main focus is working with investors and developers in the Boston area. I have close to 1000 investors/developers in my network and many loan officers and mortgage lenders, hard money lenders etc. as well. You should definitely check out Boston Wealth Builders it's free and a very useful networking tool along with BP. If you ever need help feel free to reach out, welcome!
