What types of permits and inspections are needed when flipping a property?

@Blake Messina This is a route I would love to take. We just have to network and build relationships which we plan to do once we settle in Jacksonville. I feel this would be a great way to get started. I feel pofits would be cut drastically, but if it gets us started then we are game.

@Michael Ablan That's a great suggestion; we've actually talked about this option. However with having 3 children living in a fixer upper could be a bit difficult. We aren't totally against the thought though. We know once we get the opportunity to flip we'll hit the ground running!

@Matthew Miller Wow that's great, we truly appreciate that. Once we are loved and have more money put away I will take advantage of that offer!

@Kuba F. I'll definitely be looking for these types of meetings once we get to Jacksonville. This is great advice, sounds like we are going to need to save much more than what we currently have.

My wife and I are going to flip our first property in the near future. I am 28 with a history of carpentry, remodelling, and heavy machinery operations. My wife is great with people and is working toward obtaining her real estate license. She will be testing in a month or so. With my knowledge I am confident in the rehab but with the finances I am a bit in the dark. We have about 10k saved up and growing. A combined line of credit of about 10k, and decent credit. What direction should we move toward with finance? Who should we talk to/reach out to? We are both veterans as well. We will be moving to Jacksonville FL in June and hope to start flipping. Thanks to everyone who comments, your feedback is greatly appreciated!!
