Can you tell me what are good and bad areas in Tampa?

Where could my wife go at night to pick up a check and were better not?

Thanks!

(I hope this is the right forum to post this.)

At Clearwater Beach, only a few are grandfathered in. Everything else cannot be a short-term rental and they started monitoring it.

Very few properties are grandfathered in.  Usually, they have very high insurance and property tax and therefore are advertised accordingly.

Everything else has at least 30 days.

Code enforcement is actively searching, so don't go there.

They even approached us, when our tenant started renting out a room short term.

We have dealt with termites on many properties. Treating the termites is not a big problem. We have made better success with tentless treatments.

However, you need to determine the actual damage. On some houses we have spent a lot of money replacing damaged wood etc.

Local banks is tough right now. There is a lot of consolidation going on and many have just been bought and are restructuring.

I don't know and that will use ARV. I know some that do cost (purchase plus renovation).

CW Houses in the 25K to 75K range are usually in areas that do not work as vacation rentals. There is a reason they are priced that way. Usually this are drug areas etc.

Also, only very few houses qualify as vacation rentals. It is a zoning issue. It might for for a while, but the City monitors these websites.
