I've seen a number of times that people are taking money out of their retirement plans to invest in RE. They also say there is no penalty for doing this under the CARES Act due to COVID. Is this true in all states or are there limitations? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello all,

My name is Stacy Morris & I've been a member for about 6 months. I've fallen out of posting recently but during that time I was in real estate school.  I recently became a licensed agent in the state of Georgia. I'm wanting to learn all I can about the business, so I thought a good beginning would be to become an agent. After getting my license I hit the ground running so to speak & will be closing my first (of  many I hope) deal at the end of April.  I currently work with a brokerage on the south side of Atlanta. However, I'm perfectly fine traveling to any location. I would love to team up with any investors looking for property anywhere in the state. I'm tenacious, detail oriented & would love the opportunity to find you what you need in the state of Georgia. Looking forward to talking soon.

Stacy

Quick question.  I have the money to purchase a foreclosure that I'm interested in but need a loan to complete the flip. What's the best course of action/loan type to get? Thanks for the input!

@Trey McCoy Hi Trey. My name is Stacy. I'm on the south aid of Atlanta. Just starting out myself but recently started real estate school and learning all I can as well. I have found the the REIA groups in Atlanta quite helpful. Membership is a reasonable cost and they have meetings frequently with a hands on class on some Tuesday afternoons. You should look into it. Best of luck!

@Account Closed Thank you for that information. Recently started working on our 5 year plan. I'll definitely work on getting it all written down.
