I am trying to help a friend buy a property through owner finance and I have not done that before.  The seller wants $9K down and the buyer only has $5K so the seller is giving the buyer 3 months to pay off the other $4K.  During this time the buyer wants to live in the house.  Do you have any suggestions how to work this deal?  Also what contracts and procedures are needed for owner finance?  Thank you so much for your help!

Hi there!

I host the monthly BP meetup in Bedford.  That may be a bit far for you but we have people that come from all over the DFW area.  We have been meeting the last Weds. of every month.  However we meet in the private room at Spring Creek BBQ and that night has proven to be a very busy night for them.  Therefore, we may be changing the meeting time and/or place.  Watch for post or contact me directly and I can add you to our meet up list and you will get the email invitation that the rest of the group gets.  We would love to meet you!

I have a daughter going to UT in the fall so I am looking for any type of property preferable walking distance to UT Austin.  If not walking at least on UT bus route.  Would like a 2 bedroom but not opposed to a 1 or 3 for the right price.  Not afraid of a rehab.  I am in Fort Worth so I am not familiar with that area other than it is expensive!!  If anyone has or comes across any good deals please contact me via email, call or text.
