Looking to buy a vacant home in Forney that needs significant repairs so I cant get a typical loan approved on home.

i currently have 1 paid off rental property and was wondering if anyone knew of local banks that give HELOCs on a rental property so I can purchase this other property.

Thank You!

I'm in the process of purchasing a property (primary residence)

My realtor just informed me that there is a Quitclaim Deed on the property

My question is this: wilI I still be able to get Title Insurance and a FHA loan?

Also, will I ever be able to resale it one day or does this cloud the title?

The Sellers agent claims he can clear up the title at closing and everything will be good to go.....should i believe him?

Why are you puzzled @Rick H. ?

This is an amazing website created to share our wealth of knowledge and help out fellow investors. So of course I turned to fellow BPers for assistance when I had a few questions.

And a huge thank you to those that Private Messaged me with helpful responses, it's much appreciated!

Wanting to connect with someone in the DFW area that has actually has SUCCESS with Adverse Possession. Would love to take you to coffee and go over a few things.

Please do not respond with what Adverse Possession laws require to file. I fully understand the law and are far enough along in the process that I now have questions about selling and acquiring the next property.

Please private message me if you can help

Thank You

Post: No one owns this house!

Okay, wanting to buy a potential Flip property but running into some complications.

House is listed on Appraisal District to be owned by same man for last 27 years. BUT, he dies in 2014. I found no Deed or Title transfer.

House was listed for sale by "Family Trust" in 2015 and taken off the market after not selling in September 2016.

House is still currently sitting empty, has been broken into, had all copper stolen and is getting worse each day.

Taxes are delinquent since 2014

My question is who the hell owns the property????

The owner is dead and 2 years later the home is still in his name!!!

Post: Collecting on House Lien

Need help BP:

My mother has a Lien against the house she shared with her ex-husband from their Divorce Decree. It states that she is guaranteed $20,000 from the sale of the home and that he cannot refinance without paying off the Lien to her.

She recently learned from a mutual friend that he just refinanced that home in October 2016 and got re-married in December 2016.

She is obviously upset and confused as to how this could happen without giving her the Lien settlement.

Any advice on how to go about collecting the owed money?

Should she contact a Lawyer or contact the bank her refinanced through?

@Alvara DaCosta

1,000 leads was $234

I'm saving up for my entire desired area. It's 9,341 listings for $1,700

@James Syed I'm more concerned about the money at this onset than the time.

I bought the list from listsource.com
