@Alex Tang I agree with what @Dawn P. suggested. If they're willing to split the costs of the fence with you, then it would be worth getting it done.

@Marc Miller I agree with what @John Warren suggested. If the tenant has a business, looking at their tax returns is one way of verifying their income. Asking for bank statements and maybe a statement of profit and loss (if they have one) is also useful. As for their stock portfolio, looking through their statements is best.

@Melissa T. I agree with what @Matt Devincenzo and @Aigo Pyles suggested. The first floor tenants need to adjust because they can't take up all the parking space AND enjoy their deck.

@Xavier Hamblin I would suggest looking into property management software to collect your rent online. There are plenty of free ones out there that would help you collect payments from your tenants that will be directly deposited into your bank account.

@Jason DeVelvis This sounds like a good idea! I would suggest adding a few cleaning supplies to the kit too.

@Isaac Lopez To advertise your rentals, I suggest posting on realtor.com and apartments.com. Facebook marketplace is also a good option that is gaining popularity these days!

Post: Shower door or shower curtain?

@Waleep Alvi I suggest going with shower curtains. I don't think most tenants would do a good job of keeping the door clean. You would then end up spending time cleaning it once they've moved out, or would hire someone to clean it. With shower curtains, it's much easier to throw out the old curtain and put up a new one (that is if you're providing the curtain).

@Ned Cavasian I suggest going with a light laminate that is flecked or softly veined, since these would really go well with your white cabinets and will also help your kitchen look big and light.

@Renee Pratt It definitely sounds like your tenants are not keeping your apartment clean. If you're on good terms with them, I would just talk to them about it. Otherwise, you can send them a notice.

@Tuan Tran I agree with what @Chad Hale suggested. Place snap traps along areas around your walls that could serve as passageways for mice, such as slivers and small holes.
