 The same thing happened to me, only it posted like 15 times and in some really weird format(top that). I think the Mod removed them for me. Safe to say that it happens to everyone at least once! Cheers

@Nicholas Brandenburg

welcome and I think you are on the right track. How many young adults(let alone teenagers) are that focused on their future? Your drive will will play a huge role in determining your success. That being said, I would digest as much info on BP between now and your 18th birthday, and make sure you have someone well versed/experienced in real estate review your deal before you make your first few purchases.

a lot of great advice on here!

@Eddie Carr

first of all I am sorry to hear about your loss. Secondly I would like to welcome you to the BP community. I think the trial by fire approach to RE is sometimes inevitable, and is necessary provided each lesson is learned only once. Stay active and be blessed

all jokes aside... be honest and learn to say NO as comfortably as saying YES. In the end, you play a key role in determining the relationship that you have with your tenant. Firm but Fair is my policy

you can say that again :)

Did anyone see this comment to the article?  Maybe the tenant featured misunderstood that the LL is not requiring online payment.  They are saying it is an option and not a requirement and asked for the story to be retracted. Maybe the journalist who wrote the story didn't see any primary source that said that online payment was required.  Sigh.

"Hello all, I wanted to let you know that Asset Campus Housing has been in contact with the KXAN news station regarding the story aired. The statements in the story were incorrect as residents are not forced to pay online but rather offered the service as a convenience. Residents are always welcome to pay by check or money order in the office. We have requested that the station issue a retraction. We appreciate all of the concern for our residents and welcome this story as an opportunity to increase our customer service for our tenants.

good eye.

1) When you can draw from past transactions to project the success of ongoing projects.

2) When you can confidently go into a transaction when 9 other ppl  (not involved in RE) are telling you that you are crazy.

That is where I will consider myself a full fledged "investor" by all rights :)
