Hi Krista,

I'm currently a member of an Eastern Iowa investor group. If you would like to join, message Austin Davis here on Bigger Pockets; he is one of the group's founders. We range from brand new investor (such as myself) to accredited and sophisticated investor. We also pool resources such as known good contractors and lenders to each other, in the form of shared Google Docs. We also have a Discord that we just got up and running.

As for your request; Carpetland USA always did a great job on flooring when working with either my parents or I. They had good pricing as well.

Hope it helps!

This is a link to another thread for investor in the Phoenix area: https://www.biggerpockets.com/...

His name is Gregory Bambauer. Reach out to him as it looks like he is building a network for that area.

Good luck and I hope this helps you.

I'm looking to invest in Arizona multi-families from out of state. If you're looking for a partnership or syndication, feel free to reach out to me.

None that I know of so far; all cancelled or on hold because of covid. I'm hoping to join one or set one up soon.
Just getting into it myself. I got one that shouldn't require too much work; the BRRRR method is a bit top risky for me right now.

Hello all,

I'm brand new to the REI game, about two months in, and I'm struggling to come up with realistic rents for some of the houses at which I'm currently looking. I understand that most SFHs aren't good for cashflow starting out, but because of the rising value for homes it makes setting the rent tricky. If anyone can post some of the rents that they put out for some starter homes as a baseline, I would appreciate it.

Thank you,

Sean
